中医内科学是以中医理论阐述内科疾病的病因病机、证候特征、辨证论治及预防、康复、调摄规律的一门临床学科。 中医内科学既是一门临床学科,又是学习和研究中医其它临床学科的基础,为中医学的一门主干学科,具有非常重要的学科地位。 中医内科古称“疾医”、“杂医”、“大方脉”,即中医内科学研究的范围很广,传统将其研究的疾病分为外感病和内伤病两大类。一般说来,外感病主要指《伤寒论》及《温病学》所说的伤寒、温病等热性病,它们主要由外感风寒暑湿燥火六淫及疫疠之气所致,其辨证论治是以六经、卫气营血和三焦的生理、病理理论为指导。内伤病主要指《金匮要略》及后世内科专著所述的脏腑经络病、气血津液病等杂病,它们主要由七情、饮食、劳倦等内伤因素所致,其辨证论治是以脏腑、经络、气血津液的生理、病理理论为指导。随着时代的前进,学术的发展,学科的分化,原来属于中医内科学范畴的外感病如伤寒、温病等热性病已另设专科。内科的部分急症则编入《中医急诊学》。本版自考教材所讨论的内容主要是内伤杂病和部分外感病。即以脏腑、经络、气血津液疾病为主要研究和阐明的对象,按其体系分为肺病证、心脑病证、脾胃病证、肝胆病证、肾膀胱病证、气血津液病证、经络肢体病证和癌症,时行杂感列为外感病证。研究和阐明的内容包括每一体系疾病共同的主要证候及特征、病因病机、治疗要点;每一病证的基本概念、认识沿革、本病证与西医疾病的关系、病证的证候特征、病因病机、诊断及鉴别诊断、辨证论治规律及方法、病证的转归预后、预防与调摄规律及方法等内容。
